Job Description:
Duties:
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and finishing surfaces
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete concrete installation and renovation projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of concrete work
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete saws, grinders, and mixers
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper waterproofing and durability
- Restore and repair damaged or deteriorated concrete surfaces
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
- Level top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications using straightedge or float.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
- Apply hardening and sealing compound to cure surface concrete.
Experience:
concrete: 2 years (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
Ottawa, ON: Relocate before starting work (preferred)

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for concrete finishing tasks
- Knowledge of concrete mixing ratios and curing processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate execution of work
- Familiarity with different types of concrete finishes (e.g., smooth, stamped, exposed aggregate)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during projects
