Diagnosis & Investigation

Our Plumbers are well trained and highly experienced which means that they get to the root of your problem quickly and efficiently. You can tell by watching them work that they love what they do and do it better than anyone else in the city. Not all plumbing issues are obvious. Using a high level of experience, knowledge, and equipment, our plumbing experts can run an inspection and diagnose the cause of unpleasant odors, water damage, or problems in your system.

Video Camera Inspection & video reports

Some situations require the use of pipeline video cameras and locating equipment. When necessary, a video report will be generated.

Pumping and flushing of catch basins & manholes

Whether the need calls for a high-flow flusher, a low-pressure jet to remove sand, soap buildup and light debris, or a high-pressure, low-flow jet to blast roots and hard debris, dsq Plumbing has the exact equipment and the qualified staff to unblock your drains, flush them, pump them out quickly, and get you back to business.

Tree Root Removal

One of the main causes of sewer backups is due the invasive nature of tree roots. Tree roots can penetrate seemingly impervious sewer pipes. Typically, tree roots form a root ball that blocks the flow of wastewater and cause the sewer to back up. Should you detect a foul odor emanating from your drains, tree roots may have infiltrated your sewer lateral.

Wit the help of CCTV, dsq plumbers can inspect your sewer system to determine whether roots have infiltrated your sewer system. Our high-pressure flusher can reach pressures of 15,000 PSI. Sustained pressure of this magnitude cuts through the tree roots to remove the problem.

Pipe Thawing

When thawing frozen water lines, we deploy a compact pipe heater. Our plumbers attach two electrical cables to the ends of the copper pipe or section of pipe to be thawed and then plug the machine into a wall socket. The technician then turns on the power, causing the dispersal of an electrical current through the pipe, and within minutes the pipe is heated and thawed.

Backwater (backflow) device installation

A backwater valve is a valve that closes and prevents sewage from entering your home through your sewer line. It essentially converts your drain system into a one-way street, so you never have to worry about your neighbour’s waste flooding your basement.

Plumbing Installation, Renovations & Repairs

In addition to basic drain services, our plumbers have significant experience in designing and building new installations or renovations. Let our team help you find new equipment for your upcoming projects

Hydro jetting

A Hydro Jet is a drain cleaning machine that blasts pressurized water into your drains, tearing through grease clogs, sediment buildup, and any other drain obstruction that blocks its path.

For smaller drainpipes, our drain team is equipped with a portable Hydro Jet Drain Cleaner, but for stubborn clogs in your stack, floor drain, or sewer lateral, we have a powerful diesel-powered Hydro Jetter that can tear through anything, including tree roots!

Residential, Commercial, Institutional and Industrial Plumbing Services

Our team of plumbers has the knowledge and experience to handle any type of job no matter how big or small.

Fire hydrant maintenance & repairs

Fire hydrant inspections are required by the Fire Code under NFPA 291. Annual maintenance and winter maintenance is one of the best ways to keep the fire hydrant in the best working order. Fire hydrants must always be operable and capable of providing adequate fire protection, so systematic maintenance and inspections are vital.

Hydrants should be inspected on a regular basis at least once a year. Every hydrant inspection should be documented, and problems with a hydrant should be reported immediately. Our certified technician can provide hydrant maintenance, inspections, and winter maintenance to your private or public hydrants.
